I just can't stand the thought of the game being ready and then deliberately being slingshot backwards so they can take a further $10 from you. :O I bought the FO76 special edition specifically for the early access. Otherwise this would rip a big hole into my wallet, as some deluxe editions (Ubisoft was pretty good with that) go up to 99. Luckily I do not buy that much games at all. To me it doesn't really compare.Īnd it not being multiplayer really doesn't make me feel any better or worse about it. I personally by deluxe editions as of principle, but thats just my issue. Yeah I know they do that with movies and such. There is literally no advantage one gets over others by getting the early access, and its not as if the announced release gets retroactivly pushed back because of it. And while i can kinda understand how its a bit annoying in multiplayer-games (tho its still not that big of a difference in most of them) this game here is full on singleplayer without any multiplayer at all. Its not even a game-exclusive thing either, many theaters offer early / exclusive viewings for movies in exchange for increased ticket-prices. Sometimes its a general pre-order bonus, sometimes its only for the deluxe / premium edition of the game, sometimes its beta access instead of early access, and so on. With tomorrow, February 7, being the day that Hogwarts Legacy releases in. I have never before seen it being applied to a deluxe edition bonus that you have to pay more money than standard for. Faith Lane Let's hop aboard the Hogwarts Express Hogwarts Legacy is finally hereat least for some.
